collection of stories of those who persevered in completing the recitation |
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the Master of Messengers, our Prophet Muhammad, his family and all his companions. Completing the Quran is one of the noble deeds for which a servant is rewarded and attains high ranks. It is recommended for a Muslim to complete the Quran repeatedly and to be consistent in doing so. Allah, the Almighty, says (interpretation of the meaning): {Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allah and establish prayer and spend from what We have provided for them, secretly and publicly, hope for a commerce that will never fail.} [Fatir: 29] The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah will receive a good deed for it, and a good deed is multiplied tenfold. I do not say that Alif, Lam, Meem is a letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, and Mim is a letter.” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi) Reciting the Qur'an brings with it great virtues and advantages, as mentioned in the texts. These include intercession in the Hereafter, an increase in good deeds, elevation of status, increased faith, a sense of peace, healing from illnesses, tranquility of the soul, relief from worries and sorrows in this world, insight into religion, a distinction between doubtful matters, elevation in this world, and other virtues that cannot be enumerated or described.
This is a collection of stories of those who persevered in completing the recitation of the Holy Quran.
Broken off and then
Peace be upon you... I have a story about praying for the Prophet and completing the recitation of the Quran. My affairs were in a state of paralysis, especially marriage. I was severely paralyzed. I would get engaged but Then the engagement was quickly broken off for no convincing reason. Worry and grief would haunt me every time, until, glory be to Allah, I committed to completing the recitation and praying for the Prophet. One month later, relief and good news began to pour in, and I got engaged. My engagement was completed when I was thirty-nine years old. I got married at forty and became pregnant in the first month of marriage, gave birth to my first child. Then I became pregnant with my second child, and now I have my third child, God willing. This credit goes to God alone. Then I completed the recitation of the Quran, then prayed for the Prophet, then performed the night prayer reciting Surat Al-Baqarah
At the same day
Glory be to God, I completed the Quran in three days. Today, on the third day, I felt very dizzy and vomited, and then I felt better. On the same day, my brother came to me and told me that we would be going to perform Umrah. Please pray for me to be steadfast and accepted.
Striving and striving
I am in a state of distress that only God Almighty knows about. I am wronged and divorced with three children, and my circumstances are not easy. I am in debt and have problems from my ex-husband and his family, the extent of which only God knows. I have reached a point where I say, "Who will stand by me?" I should go to a psychiatrist, and I have nothing. I started asking for forgiveness and praying for the Prophet, peace be upon him. Praise be to God. I have resumed the recitation of the Quran and I feel much better than before. Yes, I am still in debt, and the problems are not over yet, but what comforts me most is that I have been guided psychologically for the sake of my children, and I am continuing, Allah willing. I will soon give you good news because I trust in Allah. Satan still whispers to me, and I continue to struggle against him and continue. All that matters is striving and striving.
Umrah
I have wanted to go for Umrah for more than ten years, but it was not possible. I read about God's grace in completing the Quran to make things easier. I got excited, and completed the Quran. Two days later, God granted me a sum of money and gave me the opportunity to go for Umrah.
